DESCRIPTION:We have just shipped our 4th ShipItCon conference and instead of waiting until next September to get together again we would like to host a regular Meetup where we can get together\, invite some speakers and meet some new people. \nWe will post more details closer to the time. Conference tickets grant access to all activities (check Terms and conditions to attend Pycon Ireland 2023) and include a breakfast and lunch. There is an evening of entertainment on the Saturday night to allow us to mix in a relaxed and fun setting. \nWe will present a mix of talks and workshops of interest to a variety of backgrounds\, from beginners to expert\, across various and disparate fields. We will cover all aspects of python usage\, from scripting\, to machine learning training and web stack cloud deployments. \nYou are all welcome to attend and are looking forward to seeing you. DESCRIPTION:TL;DR it’s an annual chance for the Northern Irish tech community to get together\, learn\, make connections and have fun. \nWhat makes it different to other conferences? \nAs with most conferences\, it is based around a core of technical talks\, but: \n\nIt’s for the whole tech community. There’s no bias in terms of technologies\, roles or experience – whether you’re a front-end dev\, back-end dev\, data engineer\, product manager\, team lead or student\, we’ve got stuff for you. Just take a look at last year’s lineup!\nEveryone’s equal. No speakers get special billing\, and we make a point of being a great place for people to give their first talk\, with free help from experienced speakers all the way from preparing submissions to practicing the finished talk.\nIt’s inclusive. It’s our goal to provide you with the friendliest\, safest environment possible where nobody feels out of place\, particularly those from under-represented groups. Even kids are welcome\, and free professional childcare is provided all day if you need it.\nIt’s affordable.
