Talk Title: Standardisation and its effects on resilience
Synopsis: Our mission in Application Platform is to provide standards in the realm of developer experience. With standardisation everything from committing code to deploying to production has less overhead. This increases resiliency and allows our product feature teams to focus on product development. We also apply standards to ourselves, by using our own products, but also when it comes to how we develop our products.
Speaker Bio: Christine is a senior platform engineer at Scout24, working on the Application Platform in different contexts over the last 5 years. Christine is currently focused on Operability & Reliability which ranges from incident management to observability of services. Christine has been in Germany for 9 years. She lives in Berlin, and in Stuttgart before that. Christine studied and grew up in Ireland. She is happiest when out running, surrounded by trees.
