Brian is a Principal Systems Engineer in Intercom’s Dublin office. He fixes problems, builds things and grows people. He loves helping teams, and what they build, to be both resilient and delightful.
Scott Coulton is a Developer Advocate and Docker captain with 10 years of experience as a software engineer in the managed services and hosting space. He has extensive experience in architecture and rolling out systems and network solutions for national and multinational companies with a wide variety of technologies, including Azure, Kubernetes, Puppet, Docker, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, and Linux. His design strengths are in cloud computing, automation, and security space.
Sheeka is a senior software engineer at Zendesk where she works on the mobile shared services team. Her position requires interaction with many other teams globally. The common and unique challenges different teams face in terms of inclusion and culture and how that relates to the company as a whole intrigues her and she has become an advocate for the importance of diversity in the workplace. She is a firm believer that inclusive teams are more productive teams.
Mihai is a Cloud Native competency leader at IBM, responsible for Solution Architecture for large clients that use micro-services architectures, cognitive systems or blockchain in a hybrid/multi-cloud deployment. Passionate about containerization, distributed systems and Data Science.
Ben is a Software Engineer on Stripe’s developer productivity team, where he works on tests and CI infrastructure. He’s worked on developer effectiveness at GitHub and other companies, and has given talks about topics such as chatops, deployment, and refactoring
Aaron is a Senior Engineer at Phorest Salon Software. He has been involved in the Ember community for over 5 years and is the creator and co-author of EmberCLI Deploy which has become the defacto lib for shipping Ember applications. Aaron spends a lot of time focusing on how to level up deployment of JS applications to allow people to ship smaller pieces faster and with more confidence.
Laura is a Senior Staff Production Engineer at Slack and has a background in Site Reliability Engineering, software engineering, distributed systems, and computer science. She wrote the ‘Managing Critical State’ chapter in the O’Reilly ‘Site Reliability Engineering’ book, as well as contributing to the more recent ‘Seeking SRE’.
Sam is an independent consultant and author of “Building Microservices”. With over a decade of experience in the cloud and continuous delivery space, Sam is more recently focusing on microservice architectures. Sam has led workshops and spoken at some of the biggest conferences around the world including GOTO, MuCon and Devoxx.
